Hello Folks, I don't normally post on here. I do mine it for the great information available though.Am looking to sign up for auto repair courses at a local community college here in the Los Angeles area. The thing is, they offer three levels (at Rio Hondo College, in case any of you are from around the are), with each lasting 16 weeks. The problem is I will only have enough time for one of them as I have only a seventh month sabbatical for research next year, related to my career. Do you think it's worth it? We're only looking at about $160.00 per 16 week class. Or will such a course not be able to equip me to attend to the more complex Z engine projects? Here is a link to their course offerings: [ [ http://ssb.riohondo.edu/PROD/pw_pub_sched.p_listthislist ] ] I's be starting at Auto 101, lol. If I could pay some tech a grand to have them let me videotape how they do important repairs to upkeep the Z, I would, but it would just be weird to film them and have to pause, film again, pause, etc. I tried downloading a few you tube vids, but key maintenance vids (timing belt change, rear seals replacement, etc.) are lacking. My 90TT has 152K and it's running strong. The door stamp says it was built in 4/89, so it's a 23 year old car now. I really want to be able to work on it correctly until it is time for me to get a new engine, which may be coming down the pipeline soon... Currently it's at a Stage III+ and I can't wait to really mod it out even more in the future. At this juncture, I've done only real low-tech diy things: changed own brake pads, fuel filter, your typical oil changes, installed my own JWT POP filter, and installed own turbo timer and boost gauge. But that's it.

Thanks in advance.
