Message	Mod for a purpose and do it right the first time. Otherwise you will just be back there in 1-2 years spending more money. The only article I have seen from a credible source for cutting springs is for motoiq when they did it on their lemons miata. And those guys have more engineering knowledge then most people I know. And they were simply doing it to raise the the spring rate without lowering it and without spending any money. Motoiq Handling with a Hacksaw
