Yep, I was a noob at one time and didn’t know better. And when I did start to do my own work, I did take my time. I’ve also helped out several other people work on their cars for FREE, because at the time, it’s what I enjoyed doing. I just think everybody preaching for him to go to the best Z shop in the country for a clutch job isn't necessary. He already stated he isn't trying to cheap out. Nobody else here wants to pay dealer prices either. But if SZ prices still don't work for him, it doesn't mean every other option is being “cheap” or poor workmanship. It could be a qualified mechanic looking for side jobs to make extra money, the next Woody or Bernie trying to get their name out, a mechanic trying to start his own business. And just maybe, somebody here knows who that is.
