So much, in fact, that when the car was raised, the top of the spring would be an inch away from the top hats... No issues, although it didn't feel safe at all just looking at it. I don't plan to take of nearly that much of the spring either way. One coil will not negatively effect ride quality, and theres plenty of proof on this platform, as well as a plethora of other cars. I plan to take half a coil off all, measuring precisely front to rear. Please do research on the subject if you're going to throw around that assertion. This method has been around for decades. Some do it right, but some do it wrong, in the case of my legacy, but still, nothing happened for the year I owned it. Thanks for the warning, but it's kind of out of place considering it's inapplicable to what I intend on doing.
