Find the write up, take note of cautions. make sure wires, etc are all out of the way. The biggest problem is alignment. When you want to take it out the motor wants to lean forward, tilting the rear upward. (When all finished check tightness of all air hose clamps) The pilot bushing is a whore to take out. (Several methods help, grease, wedge, Dremel) Just be careful of scoring the hole it sits in and order SEVERAL as you may squash/screw up the first couple when putting the trans back in. (When you grease the shaft of the trans only do A LIGHT FILM, anything more makes a seal and is hard to "stab". When inserting the trans shaft into the bushing use a light touch, be aware of the motor's angle and the trans', the last little bit can be a bear. Use all new stuff of course, throw out bearing, clutch (recommend SZ) and either new flywheel upgrade or resurface the old one. (I'd also add the HD clutch fork and chromoly pivot, but that's me) Be careful when angling the tranny, tilting down too much can get tranny fluid all over you. Check your rear main seal and trans seals, no use in putting shit back together. While you're in there, CHECK ALL THE HOSES ON THE BACK OF THE MOTOR!!! Especially on a TT, the water line to the DS turbo is NOTORIOUS for going bad and a WHORE to get to any other time. All water hose use silicone, oil use rubber. I can't say it enough, you're in there, replace ALL that shit it gets very hot back there. (I had hoses literally crumble when I touched them when I pulled my motor) Like I said, look at the write up, many will have passed on good knowledge.
