Message	When I orginally posted about my kit I mentioned that the flexing of the brackets can allow then to dig into the paint. Original post They come with a small protective film you can put down. I used some foam on mine. Found both options still allowed the bracket to flex when being operated. I picked up some rubber stoppers at Ace Hardware. These will keep the brackets from flexing and also keep them off the paint. Working great so far.
