Message	Bought in September 2003, put 55,358 miles on it since. It's been down for 2 years at one point, 3 years at another, and just recently came off a 1 year storage. So I've effectively driven it for 3 out of 9 years. But then factor in NJ, CNY, and now TX winters for 8 years (~6 months downtime in NY and NJ for each year, 3 months for TX). I did the math once and it came to like 18 months of actual drive-time...in 9 years of ownership. So the rare times I drive it, I drive the shit out of it. But still. I would MUCH rather say I have a garage queen Z again than a garage queen street-registered "track" Miata. It kind of sucks to say I have a project car, "oh, what is it?" "...a Miata...with nothing really special about it.."
