When I pulled my blown stocker this is what I found. I believe the root cause was too much sealer on the water pipes when I had my 120K service done by a local import mechanic. I won't say who it was since I can't prove fault, but he once had (maybe still has?) a very nice Z32 that got a pretty extensive writeup in a tuner mag back in the day. I know, big whoop.
That's silicone sealer stuck in the water line banjo bolt.
More proof that it's the little things that can ruin your day. At least it wasn't a pregnant bug :-P
