Z's for the most part are personal preference, but you will have a very hard time finding anyone who ran a better 1/4 with 3.69 gears vs. 4.08 or 4.10. Like I said though, at the end of the day it just comes down to your goals with the car and what you prefer. I have always preferred driving a Z with 4.08 gears over 3.69 because I like how it always feels "ready to go". Best I can tell, the traction difference between the 2 diffs is not substantial. A 500whp Z is going to rip tires in 1st no matter what (aside from warmed up drag slicks) and with the right tires, 2nd is very useable.
