Message hans device and helmet every time you drive. OEM seat's and seat belts are made to "give" in an impact, a 5/6pnt harness can stretch ~3" in an impact... imagine what a 3pnt does. But realize that flex is a good thing, you dont wanna stop instantly in a collision, you wanna be slowed to a stop.
A rigged multi point harness dis-allow's your body to leave the seat, or point of anchor. But that harness doesnt stop your head from being ripped off your neck in said abrupt stop.
In a "race car" there is a head to roll bar impact to worry about, so your body needs to remain anchored in place.
