Message	They are a safeguard for overpressure in the filter, usually caused by a clogged filter, they are not on the block on a TT because of pressure switch location not being on the tree. My switch is still on the tree....per say, it is remote located with a line to the tree location......alot less oil pressure fluctuation and added room for the aftermarket gauge under the hood......REMEMBER just because the engine has a turbo variant does not mean it has to be just like it for a turbo to work.
