| opening and closing. It isn't a phenomena that you can measure with a standard fuel pressure gauge, and if they became a problem everyone would attribute it to something else. So before someone says "I've been running for eleventy billion miles and haven't had an issue"...they probably wouldn't know it if they did have an issue because they don't have the proper instrumentation to measure it. Same deal with the harmonic balancer vs UD pulley debate... In short, keep it if you can. Nissan likely didn't stick it on there for no reason.
