| Nissan is unleashing 8 new models between now and that Z. The last car on their mind is the Z. American Z sales are in the toilet, not because of the look or performance of the car (which BTW is way much nicer in almost every respect than the 350) but rather the cost of keeping the car in the market. The Z used to be the status car for the brand. The cost of engineering producing and selling our Z32's was way higher than any profits turned for the manufacturer and that and emissions issues were why it was scrapped in '96. It wont become a 4 cylinder guys, Nissan will have a 2014 Altima coupe redesign and performance enhancement and perhaps a name change. The Z, if it stays in the US market at all, will remain a 6 cylinder. If there is any manufacturer that stays true to its heritage, it's Nissan.
