My power transistor unit went on my car Tuesday, so I had to find a shop quick since I'm temporarily using it as a DD. I was recommended to a 'trustworthy' mechanic who owns a shop. Well, got the car back today, and I popped the hood when I got home, and well, I was quite unhappy because this big wad of wrapped cables is just sitting right next to the left vacuum hose and jeez, it just destroys the flow of the motor you know.. He has the bracket screwed into the camgear shield. Is it supposed to be like this? Any reason why he or his other mechanics would do this? Lazyness? I ask this here because I just want to be prepared when I take it back to him if I take it back.. But moreover, I just wanted to know if any trustworthy Z mechanics are in Ft. Lauderdale. Harry, sad to say, is too far from me at the moment.
