I made no open claims to production numbers for either car, especially since I know the discussion must end where neither manufacturer provides its production numbers. I don't care about which manufacturer produced more, what I KNOW is what's available on the market. Last I checked I could buy STI front calipers all day long for cheap (due to the influx of 240sx owners buying Evo calipers since the brackets were suddenly readily available). This shoved the prices of Evo calipers through the roof for a while ($5-600 and higher for a pair), leaving the STI brembos at about half that market value. Evidently the markets have evened out now, and the Evo calipers are cheaper. Hence where I stated, "You're right, I haven't looked in a year or so." I'm betting prices go back up a bit when a z32 vendor starts making brackets and selling to a new community.
