As most know, my Z has been for sale for a while now. I've gotten various e-mails including some asking for parts. I keep replying saying I am not parting it out. However, a guy e-mailed me today asking if I would sell my Border Racing FRP hood. I said no and he replied saying he would pay $1,500. I still have my OEM hood so that isn't a problem. I'm just trying to decide if it is worth it or not regarding total value of the Z. Obviously, I would have to lower the asking price of the car. I've been holding out for the right buyer who is willing to pay for it until now. Do you think I would have to lower the asking price by more than $1,500 if I were to sell him the hood? As of right now, I am asking $12,500 but it is fairly negotiable. Just trying to get some opinions on this one.
