| For some odd reason, my z's horn died few month ago without much reason. Relay and fuse check ok and since I can hear clicking noise when I push the horn button, I figure juice is flowing. So I decided to get hella horns and it was sitting in my garage since my z needed other more vital attention.(like blown injectors and what not) After few months pass by and last weekend I decided to put the horn in. I notice my z only had 1 stock horn and the other was missing(deleted for its stock loudness by previous owner?) Just as usual, it was pain to install anything in z and I end up spraining my back working in such awkward position(PAIN!!! T_T) and dealing with cuts in hands by rubbing my hands against headlight casing.(incredibly prone to glass flakes...PAIN #2) With all the painful procedures, my installation was successful and the horns are FREAKING LOUD! Previous thread suggested that if I wire the horns directly to battery via relay, it's suppose to be more loud. I think current state, I think it is loud enough. I'm pretty happy about the horns since stock horns were really really weak... For safety reason, I recommend the horn upgrade. One note for installing the horn, the connector is too short on passenger side horn so you have to fabricate extension wire and ground wires for both horns. it will make the installation much easier. --pantherZ
