When I tried to get my car inspected it failed the emissions test. It exceeds the limits of Hydrocarbons, CO, and NOx. I've modified the car and have 615cc injectors, Selin MAF translator, SZ ECU and SZ high flow cats. The car hasn't been specially tuned or anything, it's just running the program on the SZ ECU chip. It does run nicely once warmed up, very smooth. The entire emissions issue should be moot because I don't put enough miles on the car to need emissions testing- under 5000 miles per year is exempt in PA. But since it was last inspected in New Jersey it needs to pass inspection once in PA and from there on out there's no more emissions testing. The car also has problems maintaining an idle when it's cold because the air regulato and AAC valves don't work. They worked fine when I took my car apart but when I put it back together a year later they're dead. I measure infinite resistance across the terminals. I also get code 34 all the time, even with a new detonation sensor hooked up to it. But it's hard to do any road testing when it's not inspected and I can't legally test drive it, so I'm in a bit of a catch-22.
