| Sometimes hard starts are caused by fuel vapor causing resistance to the fuel pressure. It may be the fuel pump check valve is failing.. dropping pressure after you turn off the vehicle (this is usually after the engine is warm and you try to start).. But if something is faulty.. it could cause problems.
