Message Later I'm going to put together a video of this working while connected to my test ECU and software. It makes it real clear and is interesting to see how changing the voltage of certain sensors inputs cause changes in things. Like timing, O2 readings and values when going from closed to open loop ect.

You can tap into 4 sensor signals at a time. The dip switch allows you to monitor the voltage on any of the 4 sensor lines you choose to connect to. Each sensor line is controlled by one of the 4 variable controls on the front. If you turn the control all the way to the left you will see the acual voltage the sensor is sending to the ECU. Turning up a control allows you to overtake a sensor signal. The voltage outputs are zero to five volts.

The two green LEDs in the rear monitor the CAS signals via ECU pins 41 and 42. They blink in accordance with the 1 and 120 degree signals to let you know the CAS signals are good and reaching the ECU.

The first row of LEDs in front are blue. They connect to the ECU pins for the injector signals. While the engine is running or cranking they blink in a cascade in accordance with the injector signals. You can either monitor them at the ECU or you can use this under your hood and connect them at the injector connectors to see that you are getting signals to the injectors.

The second row of LEDs are red. They connect to the ECU pins for the ignition signals and blink in a cascade in accordance with the firing order. With an added external resistor you can also connect them (or one of them if you suspect only one coil not firing) to the wires at the coil packs under the hood to check for good firing signals from the PTU.

I placed a quarter next to it to give you an idea of its size. I know the stickers and all look a little crude but it is sort of a prototype. I'll post a video of it working as soon as I can. Oh, although it can be used with the OEM ECU harness I think it's better to use it with a Field 1 harness. The wires are connected using quick connects.
