| Searched here, then just happen to stumble upon this video on youtube for the same annoying problem my Z was doing.. Sorry for the crap cell phone pics, tried to get as good a lighting as possible to show the problem child.. I tried a few suggestions in an attempt to resolve this, but nothing short of this has helped till now :) Not sure if the person who made the video is a member here, but THANKS a bunch for making it, saved me from having a meltdown on my Z... The theft warning unit on my 1995TT was slightly different than the one featured in the video, mine had a black connector, Vs. the blue connector in the video when disabling it... but you get the gist. This turd had me honking in traffic randomly as if I had "mental issues", lol @ that short bus rider in Montreal, she knows who she is...;)
^^^ My band-aid cure to buy time was to pull the 10amp fuse under the hood.. (interior lights didn't work) but kept it from honking constantly.. but it would still go off under hard acceleration between 20-25psi or if i hit a pot hole just right... either way, this crap had to stop... Will install a aftermarket alarm setup soon, once I've had time to research the options out there..
Anyhow, the video saved me some headache, hopefully it's useful to someone else in a similar boat... Happy boosting ya'll...
