Message	ports to your intake... but yes you can leave it in. I removed mine with the engine in. Its almost impossible to do without a lower plenum pull, however I have heard of it being done. Personally I have found it totally worth the effort just for the increased space to work with behind the plenum, and the ease of pulling plenum with the whole system gone. TT BEAST IN PROGRESS!
