can get the EGR out. Ive done this on two cars with the engine in. You can cut the piping out and for me I think the bung on the header was the hardest part. You may just want to pull the plenum and do the water bypass as well. Deleting stuff from the VG is fun in the end. You'll look at the pile of crap and be like "lot less shit I have to worry about fixing or working around".
