I am going to do the EGR block off, but was wondering if I can cut the piping out, and block off the ports and such, and leave the valve bolted to the engine? As long as everything is properly blocked it shouldn't matter should it? I've read that it's a pain to do with the engine in, and right now I just finished tackling taking turbos off with the lump still in there and I am feeling kind of lazy and do not want to face the EGR if it is a difficult as everyone makes it sound.
