| The buys are still there. This spring I bought a 1994TT from across the country. I great car at a fair price that I NEVER would have known about without Ebay. Last week I bought a specialty vault/safe lock that would have been $600.00 wholesale for $29.00 + S&H in like new condition. Just installed by my locksmith on Monday. In the fine art world Ebay has all but killed the local gallerys and their 50-100% markups. Good or bad? Similarly, Ebay has created a nationwide fine art resale market that was impossible without a 50-100% middleman markup (see above) before. How did you FIND a 1939 Dodge pick-up restro-mod before Ebay? How did you get a meter for a Dynaco 400 power amp. last made in 1979 by a company that has been closed for over 30 years before Ebay? There's gold in them thar hills.
