| I am 6'1" or 6'2" if my back cooperates. The heaviest I ever was was only 189lbs, my average since I've had the car (nearly 10 years) is 175. I fit perfectly in the stock seats not even all the way back. I've had passengers that were taller and over 220lbs that were OK enough. My father was 5'9" and over 250lbs the only time he ever drove my car. A BMW friend is 6' and damn near 300lbs and he said he absolutely loved driving my car. He did say he'd probably get a slightly smaller aftermarket steering wheel if he were to ever buy one, but he had no problems driving it around for a bit. There's all kinds of tricks to get extra headroom in an early Miata, especially if you're all leg. Try to find someone that has done what's known as a "foamectomoy" and try again. You'd be surprised.
