Message First, the entire point of this post is only to serve as a notice to others who may have purchased one of the early production versions of the WinFactory top feed kit. I have no intention of turning this post into a flame war.

That being said, in 2010 I purchased a Top Feed kit from Winfactory for my Z build.

Like a lot of projects the car took longer to complete than I thought and I got it all put back together last year. After the build was done I started doing a bunch of tests on the car to ensure everything was correct before I pushed it. One of the things that I checked was AFR's. I have a ZEM and dual widebands so I went and did a couple of pulls and found that my AFR's were different by over 1 point between my banks.

So from there I went to a dyno to make sure that my widebands were reading correctly, and they were. My next thought was that my FMIC was causing the issue. I ended up going with a custom setup and some of the angles on my piping were sharp, which I thought was the issue. After having some new pipes made the issue was still there. So removed my front bumper and did more boost leak tests....checked plugs, compression etc etc. No issues.

I emailed Greg @ Specialty Z regarding them tuning my Z and told him about my issue. Greg told me that there had been quality issues with some of the earlier Win Factory injectors. I called Matt @ Winfactory who confirmed this. The first company that they had used to resize injectors hadn't done a great job and there was as much as a 10% difference in flow rate between injectors!

I switched my old injectors out with ID 1,000's and the problem was instantly solved.

So if any of you are having A/F issues that have this kit I hope that this saves you the time / money / headache that I had to go through.
