I had a spare one, this one was cracked and was a good test. |

I like the look, but would be uneasy if this leaves an openi posted by BoneZ (MD) on May 21, 2012 at 10:51 PM |

I was not very frugal with the cutting and I cut a lot off to get it to fit. By the looks of it I could have left a lot of material on if I would have reversed the upper coolant pipe clamp. The surface level changes on the front, you can see a small crack which I failed to bondo over, which is why I used this set as a prototype. I think most, if not all, of the TB can be covered and still have the ability to remove the cover without taking off the coolant pipes. However, you have to take them off to get the cover off the first time. Would be a great time to install a new thermostat and reseal the coolant pipes to engine, which is what I did.
