Message I haven't been able to to monitor the forum as much as I would like and forgive me if I'm late but I just read Ash's PCV delete which brought up a lot of good points and info.

His main reason for doing it was to eliminate the oil residue that would coat the intake piping/intercoolers. The removal of the system was sad to most likely contaminate the oil rapidly and was a bad idea.
Some suggested to just do the PCV reroute and vent the original ports of the intake cam case via filters as ash did. To still have the system intact but eliminate the oil vapor coating the intake piping and intercoolers. The debate against this was that the plenum would draw in un-metered air though the filters when under vacuum. (I think the PCV valves allow air in and not out when under boost correct me if i'm mistaken)

At first I thought to do the PCV reroute and put a catch can inline between the intake cam cover and the accordion pipe. Yet catch cans wont solve a vapor problem which is the main issue. So why not just put a check valve inline between the mini filter and intake cam cover port. This way when the plenum is under vacuum it wont pull in un-metered air and when under positive pressure can still vent to the atmosphere.

Just wanted to see what everyone thought. I read every threat on the post and no one mentioned this alternative.
