I forget if it's 20 or 25.. but all I know is if the neutral switch is not connected, well it's never going to be in neutral as far as the ecu sees it. If you hook up a conzult, and see the neutral switch function on/off, it does affect the ecu ignition timing whether directly or indirectly. Antihero I don't think your timing isn't necessarily advanced by +5, but if your crank is set at 15 at idle (as it should) with a timing light, and the ecu ignition is set at 20 in idle/neutral (but not really neutral), you're having conflicting data and it ended up being somewhat of a throttle hesitation in my case. You can either hook up the neutral switch, or just match the timing at crank with the ecu by adjusting the CAS - you would be technically advancing it 5 degrees with the CAS but at the same time you're not really running on an advanced timing, if that makes sense. I verified this with Mark Brent of San Diego who is a local Z guy that works with Jim Wolf, as long as the crank timing is in sync with the ecu ignition, you should be ok (15 with neutral switch, 20 without)
