Message For those who care to read, but for those that don't happy pic'ing! lol

The z32 tt was my first love back in high school. The year was 1996 and everyone was getting there first car but me... haha jk long story shot, I couldn't afford one period. So my first car was a 86 z31, I did enjoy that car and wish I still had her. So It wasn't until 2001 when I got my first z32 tt. I owned and loved that z for 5 years, until I needed the money and had to let her go. :( I know sad story tisk tisk lol

But now I'm back, and getting close to having a running TT again!!

Last year after searching and waiting for 2-3 months I found the z I wanted to buy. One with a nice body, no rust, decent mileage and a busted engine, because I was going to rebuild it anyway. So I bought this 91 tt last year and drove 8 hours down to TX to trailer it back. The car had been sitting in his garage since 06 because of a broken timing tensioner. Hmmm I sold my z in 06 and this one has been in storage since 06. Coincidence!! I think not! haha Also when I sold my z it had about 95k miles on it, and this one has 97k... just saying kinda cool ;)

Anyway I can't wait to get it running!!

The mains: All new nissan parts, efi harness and oem lifters, z1 stage 2 short block, 675 turbos, nismo 740's, jwt 500 cams, heavy duty springs, 3 angle valve job, light port and polish, Ash's smic's/2.5 piping, MSP's and SZ full 3" exhaust.

This is how I picked her up

.
He had someone put it back together to try and get it going but couldn't.
After disassembling the engine, I found nothing wrong, not even bent valves. Lucky me! So know I have a spare jdm motor. Not sure why he couldn't get it started. I do know this, it was super dirty and all the connectors were shot.
.
I had to change out the old school charcoal fabric!

.
Before taking it to my brother's 40x60 garage, to be taken apart.

.
All the goodies in one room haha

.
Old and busted

New hotness

.
Now the fun part!

Had my bro weld on a npt nut for the oil temp gauge

.
Ahh! no pics of anything under the timing covers. crap! lol I guess I thought I took them but didn't. sorry it looked good too :(

What I got done last week

Had to do a lil bending on the heat shield

.
Last time seeing the turbos open :(

.
.
I didn't like the idea of routing a hose like this from the drivers side.

.
So light bulb moment! Use the spare pass side coolant line I had. Cut off the clamps and wallah!

.
Made a simple clamp. I didn't have any more aircraft clamps the right size as I used on the pass turbo line.

.
Now obviously I did some light bending on all the lines to get them the way I wanted.

.
I didn't like how the hoses would touch and be a lil bound on the inside. so I did some careful bending to rout it to the outside.

Back to the car

Brothers 1jz tt 87 supra

.
I'm going to make a sheet metal cover to protect this stuff as well.

.
And no I didn't leave the pipes in ;)

.
I won't be able to work on the car for a few days, but I'll post updates when I can.
