Message BigTDogg has a point about how cramped our bay is. On the Z, the tubing sections have to be very short. This does not allow things to move with thermal expansion, and causes huge stress concentrations and cracks. Manifolds on most other cars have much longer runners, making a more pliable system, which is much more forgiving.
