Subject	What eats away silicon?

Message	Found out why i'm spiking for the last couple weeks because of one of my boost hoses going to the wastegate being eaten away. Don't know if heat causes this, or possibly battery acid (old battery was a leaking, corroding, recycled, el cheapo mohito lump a junka)
