might accomplish that. If it reduces coolant temps, then that heat must be staying in the engine (which is not good), or maybe it causes easier transfer of heat, both to the coolant in the engine, and to the air in the radiator. But in general, additives reduce the ability of the radiator water to transfer heat. (pure water is better than water with coolant, except for boiling point). Do they say how it's done?
