Message How ya'll doing. I'm currently wiring my Z to run strictly off of my aem series 2. I'm running 2 data serial gauges, dual widebands, boost solenoid, and with the map is where the question comes into play. If I'm not mistaken the ait is located in the maf, and I'm going to run two dummy mafs on my doolz instead of 2 mafs.

I notice alot of cars that I come across that run map sensors have the ait in the throttle body or the intake manifold. So I'm stuck on where to put my ait since I'm eliminating the maf. The plan was to drill a hole where the doolz converge and weld a bung there for the ait, but then I thought it would be more beneficial for many reasons to use 2 ait sensors. One in each of the intercooler pipes that lead to the throttle bodies.

Do you think it would be more beneficial to monitor the air coming into the filters, or the temp of the air about to enter the engine. I say the air entering the engine but any opinions or idea will help. Thanks in advance.
