Message This, plus the absolute pressure, allows for an Air Density calculation.

A proper MAP setup will take a pressure reading on startup for baseline (so you can target proper gauge pressure), and will adjust for changes in IAT, which are directly effected by your weather conditions.

Check out the N54 from BMW. Twin-turbo 3.0L Direct Injection straight six and one of the best MAP based turbo systems I've ever seen and tuned.
