Message Hello!

I have done some machine polishing jobs myself and I have done it in following order.

1. Good wash.
2. Remove tar spots.
3. Claybar whole car.

Purpose so far has been to remove all dirt and stuff stuck on paint. If some sharp dirt particles are left behind, they can cause paint hologramming during polishing.

4. With rotary I do polishing in 20" * 20" sections.
5. After polishing wash and wax.

Z has pretty soft paint so agressive pads and polish will leave paint holograms and probably you will need to use less aggressive pads and polish to finish the job. Remember to start with leas aggressive pad and polish and do a test section to see if they have enough cut to get the job done. If not, do next test section with more aggressive set.

Don't use too high speed setting and test paint surface temperature during polishing so you don't burn your paint.

Be careful on edges and steep curves so you don't polish through paint.

See few demonstration videos from youtube how to do polishing!
