| On my newly bought 2+2.. I have some pretty serious swirl marks you can see in direct sunlight. Since its the midnight blue color.. its fairly easy to see. I haven't really done this type of work before but would like to give it a shot.. Going to be taping up all edges etc.. This is what I got.
 As well as a 7" buffer/polisher w/variable speed

Anyone have any tips for me?
here is pretty much the ONLY area that I will need to wet sand (2000grit and some dish soap) 
The rest of the car is fairly good.. except alot of swirl marks etc.. And a few spots where it looks like someone pulled a garden hose across the paint (just in the clear though).
This is my plan.. correct me if I'm wrong.. Car is washed.. wax stripped using dish soap already 1. Wet sand that small area where it needs it. Use wool pad with Ultimate rubbing compound. Should I do the whole car with that? or would that be too much? And just do the areas that I wet sanded? 2. Foam waffle pad with SwirlX (swirl/scratch remover) the whole vehicle. 3. Wax by hand using microfiber towels? Do you think I could just use the foam waffle pad on the whole car and skip the first "ultimate rubbing compound" step? Just so I"m not wasting a whole wool pad for that tiny area. Do you think that the foam pad/swirl remover will be aggressive enough for the areas that I wet sanded (2000grit). Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Please no "bring it to a pro" .. I enjoy doing things I have never attempted.. and this is how someone becomes a "pro"... by trying things.. People never became great at things without trying first. Hell I remember doing my first oil change.. I printed out instructions here from Twinturbo.net.. then I built up more and more confidence and it just kept rolling and I have done way more than I ever have thought with positive results.. thanks!
