| This morning while driving to work.. I heard a sharp metallic sound.. It felt as if I drove over something. I checked my tires when I got to work and everything seemed okay. During lunch time I walk out to my car and see the tire was very low.. 
I was going to get a replacement 225/50/16 for my stock wheel.. but figured its summer time.. and I still have my old 17x8.5" MASitaly wheels that I used to run on my 91'TT a LONG time ago.. They are basically Volk AV3 look alikes.. I just needed a set of tires.. I ended up finding a set of 245/40/17 tires locally to me.. and snatched them for $160 for the set installed,mounted/balanced(they were used.. but barely). I couldn't pass up the deal.. so I grabbed them.  Sorry I accidently stretched the picture a little when doing the side by side through paint shop.
I definitely need to install my coilovers now.. wheel gap city here. However; It looks much better than stock and perform better. These are basically temporary until I can decide on what wheels I want to get for this with some nice flush offsets in either a 18" or 19".. with a 10-10.5" rear and 9" front.
Here is a pic a friend snapped of my wheel that was in my garage.. its for my widebody project. (yes its still happening.. I just want to focus on something I can drive right now).. Yes the wheel is very dirty..
Plan so far is to Twin-turbo conversion this 2+2 for a nice clean daily driver with tasteful tame body modifications.. then my widebody coupe will be more on the extreme side.. Possibly thinking of Ls1 or RB26 .. who knows with these cars these days :) ![]()
