actually make 12k without issues. Many will see 12 months without many miles on them. Some will fail under warranty, in which case they "discover" something you did to cause the failure, and void the warranty. Very few will actually get replaced under warranty, but they will be replaced with another POS, and you can spend your time and money testing that one for them also. The bottom line is machinist skills and quality control. All the pictures and descriptions mean nothing. This is why reputation is so important. If I were looking to buy a Z, I wouldn't even look at one with an Ebay engine, but would assume an IPP engine to be good for many miles.
