Message my first single setup was in front of the radiator, this system is volumetrically more efficient.
timing belts are well protected and dont get any hotter than HOT oem under hood temps.

The expansion tank pulls any trapped air in the system and stores it in the tank.
Air can compress, where as water can't. this system allows an "air pocket" to remain in the system with any adverse affects on the cooling efficiency upon fluid expansion.

stock system has an overflow tank, this has a completely different principle.
Overflow tanks vent fluid when the pressure exceeds a certain amount of PSI, these are not vented as you say, once the fluid has passed into the overflow tank it can not be reintroduced into the sytem.

WOW, you have a twin turbo! "Nah its a single".......oh......

"Its all good times until the single snail wants to join in"
