Message firsthand when you helped someone out at a ZCon out in the parking lot when everyone else just left her to fend for herself.

But I think your company, as it functions right now and at least since I first started making simple transactions with it, sucks for the reasons Ahmed put best. It is too much of a crapshoot. None of the vendors are perfect but Z1's margin of error is obviously much larger than many others.

I also think your affiliation with AMS sucks. I think your affiliation with AMS sucks even more because your company doesn't need to affiliate with someone like AMS. Many people attribute this as a character flaw in you personally, but I do not.

I like the concept of a "one-stop shop" for everything including high quality items and services for Z cars. The concept is great. The execution falls short.

Sorry, don't shoot the messenger.

With that said, off the top of my head, I can't recall recently too many, if any, posts concerning someone buying X from VENDOR(and Z1-competitor) Y, it arrived and functioned as advertised, and they now wish to proclaim it from the mountaintop of the internet. Those types of posts are more typical (and useful) in regards to buying stuff off private individuals. If your competition receives such publicity, it is typically in a reply to an inquiry for recommendations or in response to someone griping about Z1 for whatever reason.

Feel free to link to a thread started by someone saying they showed up at Specialty Z or any other competitor, bought something they needed, were impressed by Greg and Seb's grooming habits, and felt the need to share it with the world....and I will gladly call that a stupid thread post too.

Does it not occur to you that if someone feels the need to make such silly posts that a company may very well have issues? If a company does have issues, are people out of line for acknowledging it and recommending competitors with better records and reputations? Does that put them on a "negativity crusade"? From what I can see I made no negative comments towards Z1 in that post, but rather pointing out how silly it is for someone to be so easily impressed.

You guys simply over-promise. Perfect example being when you personally reassured folks that the sweating lines had been redesigned properly and that you had them on your personal Z with no sweating so there was no risk of future sweating.....then we all find out a "bad batch" got sold alongside the revised ones. Me, personally, if I put myself out there like that with personal assurances, I do it after I am sure my inventory is scrubbed of anything contrary.

I used to stick up for you guys. That was before an empty public assurance concerning crap hoses, and a fountain of gasoline shooting out my engine bay upon engine start from a fuel line sensor adaptor with a misfit plug. I can't imagine two simpler items.....no I can, stainless bolts, you guys delivered there. Any objective person can see why given these amongst the myriad of other examples Z1 gets a bad rap.

negativity crusade....hardly
