Message	but he says he didn't know after the accident. The remote start worked, and the the was started while it was in gear without the ebrake on, so it drove off by itself and crashed into another car. What's that safety switch called that prevents the car from starting when the clutch isn't engaged? The car alarm/remote was an old viper system probably installed in the 90's or early 2000.
