Message The inlet pipes fit well once they are in the car but are a royal pain in the ass to install. I cut a 12mm socket in half so it was just deep enough for the bolt head. Put that on a 15" 1/4" extension with a wobble and removal of the oem inlet pipes was very easy. You can use the same method to install the top inside bolts of the new pipes but the lower outside bolts have to be installed by hand, then tightened a 1/4 turn at a time with a wrench. Lining up the inlet gaskets can be a bit tricky. I spent 2 evenings trying to get the inlet pipe flange to line up perfectly with the turbo flange until I realized there was supposed to be 1/8"-1/4" overhang all around. I felt pretty dumb but relieved when I finally held up the oem flange to the 2.5" one. :)

The FAQ on 2.5" piping will pretty much tell you everything else you need to know and Nick@ASHspec posted pics of the DS motor mount modification needed.

The silver stuff is some generic butyl mat I had lying around. Very minimal grinding is required and depending how you position the pipes and couplers the butyl probably isn't even necessary. I just thought it cleaned up the edges nicely.
