Subject	Anyone every want to add a button to the steering wheel?

Message	Took off a non airbag three spoke steering wheel which has cruise control on it. To add another button im guessing would either have to delete th cruise control or pretty much make a custom spiral cable with 4 connections? Today i took off the steering wheel from my DD Z which has an airbag, saw its obviously different back there with the connections for airbag and horn. Also there is a warning not to remove spiral cable cause there are no serviceable parts behind. Has anyone removed it? Is the spiral cable itself the same like non airbag steering wheels? The problem seems to be the alignment arrows, is that for HICAS?
