Awesome! I have been going back and forth on tires and wheels because it's getting harder and harder to find 245 45 16 tires. I am a factory priss so I don't really want to change from the factory set up and these cars are extremely easy to make look bad lol. Initially I was thinking of 18s because there are a couple wheel designs I like but then decided it would make factory brakes look too small, degrade ride quality, and drop mpg.....yes I'm older lol. Also I want to keep the car as era correct as possible. The last supras ran 17s and so did corvettes of that time so I decided 17s would be a better way for me to go. I am specifically thinking of BBS LM like the factory GTO car had...minus the gold center. The downside of 17s is there isn't as much choice in wheels. I think the stillen upgrade package available through dealers also came with 17s. I was thinking of going 17x9.5 rear and 17x9 front with 255 40 and 245 40 front, but haven't figured out what offsets I need yet. Do you have any pics of your set up looking down the side of your car so I can see how flush they sit? I am assuming you are not staggered right? Also I don't plan on lowering my car and like the factory amount of fender gap to the tire. I see your in el monte, I'm in San Juan cap, maybe we could meet up sometime so I can see your set up in person. Please post more pics if got any! Your sizes are as close to what I was thinking as I have seen yet!
