| You can't compare 2 care with different cam setups and then chalk up the difference in spoolup characteristics of the different turbos to the fact that one car has fully 2.5" piping and the other does not. the car with 530's will reliably put down mid to high 400whp on the street all the time. The car with stock turbos will not reliably put down mid to high 400's on the street without having issues with its turbos smoking and wearing prematurely. OP has issues with his turbos. He needs to replace them. He could benefit from 2.5" intercooler piping but if he is on a budget he should fix and replace what needs to be fixed and replaced without cutting corners. Pulling your motor because your turbos are bad and then staying with a stock turbo setup is like if your car needed its struts replaced so you replaced them with some used old stock suspension and then bought a BBK, when in fact that is the time to upgrade to coilovers or a nice set of aftermarket shocks and springs.
