I got a set of TT chrome stockers a couple years ago in pretty good condition. I've been through a few sets of tires. I got new tires put on last summer with the TT swap, and in the last two months, both fronts have developed slow leaks because the chrome has blistered from corrosion. I don't necessarily want to blame the tire shop, both times a tech has spent quite a while cleaning up the bead with a wire brush and they didn't charge me either time. I'm just curious if this is as common as they make it out to be, or if they somehow triggered the corrosion.
