Message They are invariably bought as cheap, D-grade auction cars and purchased by broke kids for the JDM cred. They are usually in atrocious shape, leaking, poorly maintained, and usually sold within the first year of ownership or written off. Useful for parts... got a set of powered PS mirrors cheap from one. Here nobody stares, nobody cares... they're nothing special.

What are far less common are nice, clean examples of LHD tt's in good repair. Those are the cars that get the attention.
