Message If I had the money i would get the nismos for sure. Didnt think jecs would be too bad even if they were just drilled considering they were the oem manufacturer of the injectors.
Ya this block isnt sleeved and if the shop tells me it needs more then a .020 bore then i will try to pick up another block. Needs a little rust repair under the battery tray, a new tray, gasket kit, studs, oil pump, bearings, rings, and the list goes on and on so im trying to get it back on the road as cheap as possible without sacrificing reliability. One question.. ive heard that if i go with bigger pistons that i need to have the bottom end balanced. But then ive also heard otherwise due to the crank design. I know it should be done regardless but is it mandatory and do you think i should be ok reusing my good rods and valves? thanks again ill be updating with progress. Cant wait to feel this beast again, if i have enough money to do it right lol
